740 1992 - Just a couple of question about my "new" car

Hi guys!
I've read a lot of this forum but it's the first time I write here.
I've got just a couple of questions: the car has the broken odometer, I read the tutorial about reading the actual mileage from the OBD, but the strange thing is that in my OBD, there isn't the A7 plug...I mean, there is the hole, but no wires come from it, it's disconnected as well as the most of the other plugs, is there another way to read the actual mileage?
The other question is about a small leak from the coolant reservoir, is it possible that the cap has been tight too much and got unable to relieve vacuum from the cooling system, so that the lower hose broke down or something?

Welcome to Matthew's Volvo Site.

The A7 on the 740 OBD isn't connected. This procedure didn't apply to the 2 and 7 series cars. I don't know of any way to read the mileage on these cars.

This is highly unlikely. It is more likely that the hose has deteriorated or the stub pipe it fastens on to has a crack in it.
