Is it possible to reset the service reminder light?
I have an OBD II reader, using the 'erase' function doesn't reset the service reminder. I saw on the brickboard that only a Volvo Scan Tool can reset it. (www.brickboard.com/ARCHIVES/1998JAN/7733.shtml)
also, where can I get a decent service manual at a reasonable price?

Depends on the OBDII device. I have PC software (and a cable of course) that does reset the service light. However, the software is very complex, and I strongly recommend finding another vendor -- even if I could remember the name of the software.
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.
Also -> Amazon link. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!
