s40 2004, engine keeps shutting off..

Just bought engine shuts off after every 3 -4 blocks. local mechanic computer scans comes up: code 43... turbo hose malfunction. whateles might be the problem?

little confused here...describe first which model your car is;
s40 with 4cylinder or s40 with 5cylinder?

here in Malaysia, the dealer sold older ph2.5 s40 till march 04 and then in oct they launched the newer s40..

ok. if its the older s40 (4cyl)..check your idle air pump/valve. it is located right infront of the throttle body with FORD logo on it. clean it with t/b cleaner and check the hoses as well.
