clutch adjustment

Post by yeagermeister »

94 850 - is there any way to adjust the action on the clutch? mine's release is in the top 2 inches of the travel, and it just seems high to me... maybe this is normal, but i have no control Volvo to go by.

thanks (again) in advance....

How many miles on the clutch? I believe that the clutch is hydraulic.

i'm not sure how many miles are on the clutch (it is hydraulic)- it's got a long travel to the release point, but it grabs pretty quickly and definitively when it does...

there's a visible release fork at the front of the engine, and there doesn't appear to be any adjustment there. i was just hoping...
