O2 Sensor code, front or rear?

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

O2 Sensor code, front or rear?

Post by asummers »

Does anyone know if these codes are for the front or rear set of oxygen sensors? I don't really want to do all four, if I can find out which set they are.

I don't know (sorry), but it looks like from the codes you have, that Bank 2 Sensor 1 is the first one to try...

Do you have VADIS? This might help you figure it out.

Sensor 1 is the pre-cat O2. So you are looking at issues with the system on cylinders 4,5 & 6. Not 100% sure if a new O2 will fix the problem, its death might be a symptom.

Given the message "no activity detected" it mightn't do any harm to check all the connections for said O2 sensor.
