Hi, I just bought a volvo s60 2006. I have problematic startups when it is cold(below 30 degrees). I need to replace the fuel relay. I've searched online but I can find no place that sells this part.
Can someone please recommend a place where I can buy a fuel relay. I live in the USA North East coast.

Hello, Did you call each website you searched? We've learned that fresh information doesn't always make it into e-catalogs or websites. Please post the companies' names who didn't have it. Then we can try to fill in the gaps. If you end up going to a yard (salvage, dismantling, recycling or junk) before a dealer remember that noone takes a return on an electrical part so low-ball their asking price. How did you ascertain that it was the relay? Kira

Good question! "Problematic startups when it is cold" and a bad relay are not necessary related. Check your fuel pressure when its "problematic", that will help you to determine whether its fuel issue or not.Georgeandkira wrote:How did you ascertain that it was the relay?
Look on top of this page, http://www.myvolvopartsonline.com is a Volvo dealer, they have anything you need. Once Mark checks in I'm sure he'll be able to give you more info about the relay even tho I doubt thats your problem.

The relay is not going to fix your issue imo. You need to get it diagnosed when it is below 30 degrees to see if you can get it to duplicate your problem. Thanks for the kind words Al, I'm Mark's minion, and assistant with the page, Matt. I've been posting on here each morning in my spare time. Mark is on vacation for two weeks so I may not be on here much until he gets back. Any questions write us an email.

Thanks a lot all. The temps are on the 40s now and the car is starting great. I tried the dealership but their real goal was to make me a life partner with the dealership.
They don't sell parts that easily. They wanted my business in a much bigger way than I can't afford.
I'll take the advice and start more phone work.

Once you figure out if it is the fuel relay, fuel pump, or fuel pressure regulator, give us a call. We have all three of them, but they may not be on our website because we are in the process of redoing it.
