1997 S90 power seats help me.

The driver's power seat is broken so it will not move back. I just bought this car and I need to seat to move back about 2 inches. Is there a way to make this happen manually or will I have to replace the whole thing....and at what cost? If someone knows please help.

With the 700 series there is a method to manually moving power seats. I believe it involves using a tool from the Volvo toolkit that is supplied in the trunk. Have a look in the owner's manual believe it or not, that's where I found about this feature on my car. It may under 'emergency' something or other in the glossary.
