Whats the deal with this wee pipe, I havent this piece on the oil trap on any of the pics or diagrams ive come accross....
Any ideas if this is replaceable or do I need the whole metal ring assembly?
Also, what is the name of the switch\valve that is on the end of the PCV system, top of the motor going to the inlet of turbo #2. Is this something that should be cleaned/checked like the PTC nipple on the V70?
Need help with PCV Parts\pipe

It's the suction tube going to the air intake. It's where the excess crankcase gases go through. Why is that piece missing in the middle? Did someone cut it out?
There is an orifice in the round metal ring that limits the amount of vapors that can be drawn into the intake manifold. You need to make sure that orifice is open if you try to reuse this assembly (I would, since it's probably an expensive part).

Im not sure if I broke it being heavy handed or it it was missing. Is it just pipe missing in the middle or is there some sort of "device"
So is safe to say that that is part of the normal PCV system and would be included on the new Oil trap?

No device in there, just tubing. It's not part of the oil trap. But you can buy it separately, IIRC.

Isn't this a picture from a turbo model? The 2.9l doesn't have this pipe.
