How to reset Alarm Service message?

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

How to reset Alarm Service message?

Post by macplee »

My 2004 s80 recently starting displaying a "Alarm Service" message. Any way to reset this myself? If so, instructions would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Most liekly it is your Alarm Module Battery. The battery leaks and corrodes the circuit board. You need to replace the entire module. Look for a post describing how to do it. Pats.com is the place to buy the module if you do it yourself.
