T.d.i in a 240?

hey, my buddy has a 240 wagon & wants to put a tdi motor in it but cant find alot of information about it ,any imformation would be helpful.

Volvo did produce a D24tic for the 740 but the 240 only had the D24. However, the engine from the 740 will go into the 240 but it is a tight fit and needs some parts from the 740 apart from the engine.

Have a look at this.
