1994 940 Station Wagon Air Conditioning went out

Post by RAAKEVIN »

I recently had both fuel pumps, starter, regulator, wires and plugs replaced and almost simultaneously the air conditioning stopped working. I have about 180,000 miles on the car so it is entirely possible that it just needs to be recharged. Can anyone tell me how to do this myself or direct me somewhere instructions exist for this? Cannot afford to bring it to shop again. :(

They sell kits in any auto parts store. Just follow the directions on the box. I did this myself on my '93 wagon after suffering for a year. It worked great.

Turns out I had two hoses leaking horribly so service station will make another $650 off of me. Just too much work for me to pull off at home. Thanks for the reply however.
