my 2001 s60 is making a high pitch whistling sound after i have driven it for a while.what can that be?

squeeeeeell of the heater/AC fan? (adjust fan speed from 100% to 0%) Mine would start to whine/squeel during a right turn. Windows completely shut?(make sure they're shut) Condition of cabin air filter? (a solidly packed filter could cause some kind of noise) This is that new-to-you car, no? Kira
