Hello I just purchased my first Volvo and I am very excited, BUT I turned on the ac on and the passenger side is blowing out warm air. I called around, read here on line and did a little bit of troubleshooting. I found that the drivers side is as cold as my wifes car so i dont think it needs a recharge. I spoke to the dealer they said that it needs a recalibration for $137 or it could be the door motors. I can hear something moving in the dash when I switch from war to cold and vice versa. I would just like to get some advice before I spend $137 at the dealership for a recalibration. Please Advise, thank you!

Get under there and find the vent doors. See what moves when you turn on the ac. Sometimes an arm breaks or the actuator slips off.
If everything is connected together then your climate control can be freaking out and it will take a dealer to diagnose. I was driving to work one summer day when all I could get was heat on my side and AC on the other. It turned out to be the sensor in my seat that tells the cliamte control how hot the seat heaters have made the seat. It shorted out. It would have take me a long time to even think about that being the issue.
