More C70 problems

Post by sparkyct55 »

The more I own this car, the more problems keep happening. First, The drivers side window doesn't go up or down- switch?
second, there is a chime going off all of the time when the power is on- is the door and seatbelt the only things affecting the chime? third, all my curtousy lights suddenly went off. I guess wiring was a big problem with the 2000 C70's :x

Window issue sounds like the switch to me.

The chime only comes on with the seat belt and the door. I bet it is related to the interior lighting issue you are having.

You have a bad door lock or a bad switch somewhere causing all these problems

Found a short in the trunk light that had blown fuse#15. Replaced fused and everything works fine. The wiring on this car is sooo convoluted!!!!
