The next time it quits on you check for fuel pressure at the schrader valve on the end of the fuel rail. Your symptoms are screaming fuel pump relay and they tend to crap out in the spring and in the fall when the temperature changes. If you know how to solder you can fix the relay for a few bucks worth of Radio Shack parts.

If you have a turbo the pipe to the inter cooler is in the way and it really need a 90 degree elbow. We had a member that fabricated an adapter but I can't seem to find the thread for you.

Tire pressure gauges are cheap and disposable but they are normally not accurate and be careful not get gasoline sprayed into your eyes. That said, you can figure out if you have any pressure at all with a tire gauge.

You have to check your EVAP valve, this is a one way stuff, its located over the cooling fan .inside a cilindrical foam cover..

Did you have some randoms failures??? Suddenly dies at highway speed??..On a hot day no start??

To check you have to remove it from the hoses..you have to make a vacuum test..just one way have to leave pass....

Its very easy to check, replace and its cheaper too!!

I nearly became crazy until I replace it...

I have the exact problem with my 1995 850 turbo wagon. Can't figure out for the life of me - which will be a problem if it stalls at the wrong time!!!
