Volvo 850 Power Seat not working

Post by luvmybassetthound »

Hey there, this is my problem. My driver power seat is not working at all. I have completely removed and attached it to my second volvo 850 and it works just fine. I have checked the fuse box and cannot find a blown fuse anywhere. I have no idea what relay to check if there is one to check. I have checked the two power connectors with a volt meter and am getting power with the key on. Please can anyone help me troubleshoot this...I just do not know where to venture next. I truly would like to replace the power seat with a manual--but that just is not in the cards. Many thanks in advance for any and all assistance. You guys have never steered my wrong yet.

If it works fine in the second car check the ground connection on the car that the seat doesn't work in.

Thanks Lee, I could not sleep because it just made no sense....TURNS OUT THE CIRCUIT BREAKER IN SLOT 39 WAS BAD...I had checked fuse 33 for the power seat but did not look at the CIRCUIT BREAKERS.
