V90 1998 (160K+ miles) blower has all 5 speeds when car idling, but only slightly cool air blowing, even at 5-setting.
Once car moves and accelerates, blower seems to work only at 1-setting (even if you put it on 5-setting), and still only slightly cool air.
Can feel and hear compressor kicking in. Checked fuses (replaced even though appeared OK) - same result.
Recently had Volvo dealer replace heater hoses re: coolant loss (and neutral safety switch earlier service) - AC had worked OK before taking it in. Left on Florida trip and AC gone....
Any ideas are welcome!! Possible they bumped/dislodged a vacuum line or something else? (Am afraid to take it back to them since this is second time that following their service had more & different problems than before going in.)
Have been through 50+ pages of this forum and not seen this case (since can't *search* for 'AC' by itself - anyone know a way to filter for 'AC' items?)
- Toasty in Atlanta (and Florida) - Thanks !!
AC Blower works only when V90 idling
