Help pls - XC70 -

Post by MVZOOM »

HI All,

Wow! There's some major depth of knowledge on this forum. Have two quick queries:

1. Where is the switch on the rear hatch which controls the interior lights - can't see it anywhere?!

2. Rear Rotors - are they a weak link? If I need to replace them, what does it involve - merely pulling caliper off, loosen 5 wheel studs, replace and re-tourque?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Cheers - Mike

The rear calipers are a nornal problem IF you live in a wet area. Thay need to be worked in and out a few times to prevent seizure. Remember to place the shims on the pads with the arrow up. If you do change the rear rotors take a look at the emergency brake pads as they have a tendancy to seperate.
