2000 v70r build Question's

I'm looking for a 2000 v70r to build. Is the
auto 4 speed or 5 speed better if I'm aiming towards 500 whp. I'll need a
bigger trans cooler right ,or will i need some other things? any and all input is needed.

Neither.
If you go to Volvospeed there is a complete and thorough pinned thread on how to to build a modded Volvo.
Neither automatic is much good holding over 300 HP and the 4 speed is stronger than the 5 speed to answer your question.
ALL these are old now (except mine)

with many miles on the transmissions.

Great engine but you would be better served starting with a 98, MUCH easier to do what you want
