2006 V50 Will Not Start Multiple Error Messages

Our V50 is sitting in the garage and will not start. No clicking, no noise, multiple error messages on information screen to include brake failure and steering system failure. Tried to jump start and nothing happens. Does not turn over. Looks computer related. Any ideas? Car ran fine until just now. No warning signs prior to this.

I looked at it again this morning. Messages include steering failure, airbag failure. Car will not start. No cranking, no noise. Can't even get it out of park. Which computer component would be affected. Trying to get an idea before it is towed to a shop.

Okay here is an update. Last night I tried my self contained battery pack jumper unit to start and it would not start the car. Yes it was charged. This morning I borrowed my neighbors jumper cables. Hooked them up and let it charge the battery for a few minutes and then cranked the engine. It fired right up. All the service warnings disappeared. Took it in to the shop for new battery, check up to see if anything else is wrong, and traditional lube, oil filter. If anything else crops up I will update this post. Bottom line is if you get all those messages try jumping with good jumper cables first. I had called the Volvo dealership and could not get a straight answer other than tow it in and we will look at it.
