Location of Evaporator (AC) Drain for S40

I have a 2001 S40 and I recently noticed water on the passenger side floor. Also, there was water at the bottom of the cabin air filter housing. I assume the AC evaporator drain is clogged. The water is clear and I only have a problem when I run the AC. I pulled back the carpets on both the drive and passenger side but I did not see anything resembling a drain plug. Can I access the evaporator drain from the inside of the car? Also, where is the drain from the outside of the car. (I assume it is near the center console area, but if I could get more specific directions it would be greatly appreciated.)

It is on the passenger side at the bottom of the heater unit. Look for a hose coming out and turning down to pass through the floor.
