Engine problem, looking for diagnosis

Yep, that's it. Very simple...remove the Torx screws on top, take off the cover, pull off the boot over the plug, and pull out the plug.

I don't use a torque wrench to re-tighten them - just spin it on with the socket in your hand til its tight, then attach the socket wrench and give it maybe 1/2 turn. You want them to be tight, but don't strip the threads.

It doesn't look like you have a turbo, so it makes it even easier for you because there's not pipes in your way.
