Restore Faded Exterior Plastic Trim Permanently

Post by WeAre06 »

Just came across a product that restores faded plastic and though I'd share. It's called Showroom New and it's supposed to be a permanent dye rather than something silicone based like armorall that wears off in a week. I just used it on my 98 v70xc and the trim looks great. I wish I had before and after pics to show, but didn't have any time.

Here are two places to buy it:

I tried different trim dyes and none of them held up. Finally did my bumpers and the roof trim strips using DupliColor's Bumper Paint. Still looking good after several weeks. Dyes would have failed by now.

I used this on my S60R and so far, so good. We will see after the winter beats it up.
