droning sound from engine and vibration in steering wheel

I just bought a 2003 V70 2.4 wagon, There is a droning sound coming from the engine area at exceleration and vibration is in steering wheel and also in gas pedal and brake pedal?? What could this be

Your struts or tires may be bad. With bad struts, your tires will bouncing when car is running and cause the vib. and will also cause bad wear on the tires.

Thanks, the droning sound comes at point of exceleration, when I give it gas. As for the tires I think this is a true possiblity as the tires had lost air yesterday and I put air in and the vibration was better not gone.. I plan on taking the car to a Sears tire store or similar place to get them all checked.. soon..to see if they have any ideas or advice. Thanks for your insight and helpful advice.. I need to check out the struts also.. Thanks again, Alice
