I went out and found the diagnostic point and did what I think is the right sequence of events to do the test. Plugged the lead into #6 and turned the key and pushed the button and it blinked three distinct times, indicating that there is no fault with the parts that it scans. There is still no spark. I swapped out the coil and coil wire(coil from pick and pull) The chiltons manual I have says the crank position sensor has two wires and they should read between 200 and 500 ohms. The one on the car has three wires or terminals in the pigtail and I get real low ohms readings. Ideas?

Changed the crank position sensor and no difference.

Yahooooooo. It was the ignition stage amplifier. Some sort of module that is mounted to the left fender by the air box. Some one from Turbobricks forum advised me.

Eric :D
