brake bleeding 2001 v40 19D

hi i want to change my brake fluid i went to halfords and bought an esybleed but the conversion cap dont fit the makers suggest i drill a hole in the master cilinder cap then put a blank of in the hole when finished but that dont work it leeks out the sides of the cap when i tried to bleed the system any one got a idea were i go from here

Welcome to Matthew's Volvo Site.

Do you start the Easybleed before or after opening the bleed nipples. If before, you are pressurising the system and the only place the fluid can go is out of the cap.

Try putting slightly less fluid in the reservoir to allow for the pressure.
