fitting an angle flanged TD04-18T to my 850 T-5

How to go faster, stop quicker, and turn harder. Chips, exhaust, larger turbos, bigger/slotted/drilled rotors, high performance brake pads, manual boost controllers, performance shocks/struts/springs, airbox mods and more! Also discussion on HID and Xenon lights, aftermarket foglights and other exterior lighting.

fitting an angle flanged TD04-18T to my 850 T-5

Post by charlyW »

It's time to change the turbocharger on my 97 850 T-5 RHD so I've located an 18T from a 2001 S60 that has an angle flange the one coming off, as you all know is the TD04-15G with a straight flange. I will obviously have to get the downpipe cut and welded to fit the angle flange so does anyone have pictures to show what work needs doing ? I'm not doing it myself [You really wouldn't want me anywhere near a welder]
855 T-5 RHD Blue: MBC, Custom Map based on Rica, K&N Filter, 18T Turbocharger, White/Green injectors [depends on my mood], Blue Silicone vacuum hoses

S60s NEVER had 18Ts on them, they were only on the S70Rs and V70Rs.
