99 S80 Not Reving

Car starts fine and sounds normal, but it won't rev over 1000rpms. Gave it gas at a light to go and it suddenly wouldn't move more than 10 mph. Didn't feel anything while waiting at the light. No chug, no stall nothing. It just all of the sudden had a problem. I can drive it, but not more than 10 mph. Any ideas??? Thanks in advance.

If no one has answered you, your ETM probably has taken a crapola

Hello,
just to add this car has the 2.5tdi engine from the Audi range, the car is a 99 plate. The car was also clocked so there is no real service history meaning I dont really know much about it.
