My 2001 V70 wagon does a couple of odd things.
1. After switching off the cabin blower, turning off the car and locking it, at times, after 5-10 minutes, the interior cabin blower will come on at full blast. This has twice caused the battery to flatten. Happens maybe one time in 15-20.
2. Each and every time I unlock the car, the driver's mirror changes position to some random angle (usually different each time). I reset it, as per the instructions in the manual, but still, each and every time I unlock the car, the mirror changes position.
Advice would be welcomed.
Cabin blower starts when the car is off

Everything is working as it's supposed to
The fan running after the AC shuts off is called the "afterblow" it will run up to 45 minutes and is cleaning out the AC system.
The seats and mirrors will return to the setting for the seat position used and/or THE LAST KEY USED.
If you use the same key/remote, you should be fine.
If you're using the same key/remote you need to have the Volvo dealer reset the system
Try locking and unlocking the car three (3) times in succession with the key only. (NOT the remote)
This resets many of the systems

Thanks for the help.
I tried the key three times and it didn't work. Interesting though, when I unlock the car with the key, the mirrors stay where they are, when I use the remote, they go to some bizarre angle. Could it be a symptom of the battery running low in the remote?
As for the cabin blower, I'm not convinced. It happens both in cool weather and hot weather, and at the time when the engine is switched off, the blower is NOT running. At some point after that, it starts up all by itself and just keeps going until I put the key in the ignition and start the car. I'm fairly certain this is more than afterblow, as it just doesn't stop.
