Exterior paint quality

Hi to all online,

Just bought an s80 about a month ago. Black sapphire. No particular problems to date but I do feel that the paint quality is somewhat lower than I would have expected for a car in this price range. There is noticeable swirling in the paint (especially obvious in direct sunlight), it is almost impossible to keep clean and the finish is somewhat uneven with minor chips, especially on the front end but also around the door areas.

Has anyone else experienced this or is it just my obsessionnality getting the best of me?
