keeping my volvo running

Post by joey pittman »

My volvo can start, but it begins to stall out and then quit (less than 30 seconds). I have replaced the fuel filter and the fuel controller fuse under the fuse box. The car will not even turn over to start after about 3 or 4 attempts at getting it to continue running.
What other problem areas should I check.

How old is your battery?

4 years or more and it could be too weak. Earlier this year, I had similar symptoms with my '96 850. I knew the battery was a little over 5 years old. Replaced it that afternoon and the trouble went away.
