Which 2001 V70 Fuel Filter do I need?

Post by johncarson »

Trying to order fuel filter for my 2001 V70 T5 and apparently there's an early and late model year difference.
How do I tell if I'm A or B?

If there is a VIN cut off, tell whoever you're buying it from your VIN
(Whew)
Or order one from a Volvo dealer, they will ask you the VIN and get you the right one
(Logical)

The difference between the two is the length.

Chas: -18763 larger
Chas: 18764- smaller

The smaller is about 4 1/2 inches long, if yours measure about 4 1/2 inches you have the smaller one.
