A further check on BSR's website says "injector cyl 1, sig too high"...A wild guess of a signal that is too high is that it is an open circuit, therefore no voltage drop present...

What does this mean?
Mechanic says he checked all the vacuum lines, including one near manifold. He still doesn't know what is the cause of the code.
Could it be a computer glitch?

I might add that when the heater and/or defroster is on, I can detect a gasoline or oil smell. Is this related to the fuel injector ?
Thank you for your valuable input.

Is this a turbo model? I know that smell, and it's from oil leaking on the turbo/exhaust manifold from mine from a clogged PCV system/bad oil cap seal.

Lift out the oil dipstick while the engine is running (and warmed up) and see if there is smoke puffing out of the opening.
