2000 s80 2.9L.
Timing belt jumped time and I had to replace all intake valves.
I'm having trouble setting the time on the crank. If I line up the timing marks the piston closets to the timing belt is about 1 and 1/2" below the top of the cylinder. I understand from research that it is not supposed to be exactly at TDC, but I didn't expect it to be that much off.
I tried using a piston stop as suggested in Vadis and end up with the same results.
Everything seems to be lined up correctly but I want to make sure that this is right before I proceed.
Can anyone tell me?
How do I set timing 2000 s80
