Hey guys, I'm going to be picking up my used 2007 Volvo S60.(off-lease, CPO) I've already done a 100 point checklist on the car
(http://www.autotropolis.com/wiki/index. ... list%3F%22), my friend who's a mechanic took a look at it, and everything seems to be good with maintenance records and 29k km and is basically new, no rust, no dents. Bargained down to $24,300 from $27k and they're throwing in Gislaved Nord Frost 5 tires and mounting it.
I'm bringing in my check on the weekend and is there any last minute things I should double check for a volvo s60 with sports package?
Ahh, my third volvo, '97 850, '98 S70, and now a '07 S60.
Picking up my '07 volvo s60 , anything more to check?

I'd ask for a test drive before I hand the check over.
Listen while you drive it for odd sounds, anything besides engine, radio and wind noise. Turn full lock, listen/feel for rubbing.
Does it pull? On light brake application is there pulsing (warped rotors)?
Is the oil within low/high mark? All the interior/exterior lights/signals work? Do all the dash lights show when key is in position II? Everything in the engine bay shipshape? No loose wires, no tubes without a destination? Spare tire and jack present?
I'd do a full throttle run up to 50-60mph so I can feel and hear the 1-2 shift. It should be snappy with no fanfare. Does it get up to operating temperature, and stay there?
