I have heard that Volvo may be releasing all of their diagnostic codes to Snap On. Maybe as soon as January. May be a more cost effective solution to diagnosing the systems!

Maybe, maybe not...Snap On is top of the line, but definitely not cheap...Their principle claim to fame is free replacement of broken tools, but you pay through the nose in the beginning...I've got a garage full of them...

I have two dealers in the family, I'll let you know on the progress. Their scan tools are very nice.
