Would anyone be willing to kindly offer a pdf of the torque specs for an 04 xc90 2.5t awd?
I specifically need wheel nut specs and the front and rear brake caliper and pad holder specs.
Thanks for the help!

Bill, was wondering if you could point out for me the torquing spec for the locating pins (7mm hex screws), and also the mounting screws for the caliper (18mm screw).
It's probably the metric to english but I'm not finding any specs for those on the Tightening Torque sheet.
Thank you kindly...

The 7mm locating pins are designated M7 with a tightening torque of 17nm. I believe the calliper mounting screws are M14, not 18. First step 105nm then 65 degrees.

A trivial amount of humor.... if you can call it that. I called up my local dealer, Darrell Waltrip in Franklin, TN. It seems they don't stock the caliper holder bolts. Those bolts are angle-tightened to 60 degrees after a torque tighten and according to Volvo should be replaced with new whenever removed. It probably makes little difference, but I went ahead and ordered some new ones... I guess the mechanics don't think it's that important to replace a bolt that has been stretched by angle tightening.....

I've been told the bolts are in with the replacement rotors. They're not in the replacement rotors that I've purchased.

Bill... Ok. Replaced the front brakes with success. Man, that final 60 degree tighten on the caliper bolts required me to stand on the wrench.
Anyhow, the weather was snowy and the roads were slick the very next day, so we slid into a curb with the right front wheel. Now hearing a hum at 40mph and at 60mph from the front end, so I may need to replace the front bearing... will find out in a couple hours.
It seems there are 4 bearing housing bolts that will need to be torqued, and it appears the hub nut will need to be torqued as well. Are those torquing specs listed on this sheet? Are they the M12 and M14 specs that are called Front Wheel Hub In Steering Arm and Wheel In Hub?
Thanks.

Just like me, if you didn't have bad luck you would have no luck at all.
This is how to tackle the hub and you have the right specs.
Bill.
