The difference between any 4 wire O2 sensors is the shape of the plug and the length of the pigtail. On my 850 I used a generic walker sensor with a 12" pig tail and it worked fine. If you're willing to splice together 4 wires you can save a couple of hundred bucks. I might still have the wire colors somewhere on my computer if I can find it.

I disagree. The head shape makes a difference on sampling rate (flow across sensor) as well as deposit control. These both lead to issues of accuracy. I am not saying that you can't take any 4 wire and put it in and get a signal. I'm saying that the signal will be more accurate and the sensor will last longer with a properly engineered head in place.

If they were all the same the industry would only have one head design ( the cheapest)
