Door lock knob

Post by burgertimegirl »

I have a 2000 V70 with tan interior. Where is a good place to find a replacement lock knob? A junk yard is out of the question right now, which is why I'm hoping someone here has another suggestion or has one they want to sell.

Also, do you have to go to the dealer to get a key cut without the chip so it only opens the door, or can these be cut at Pep Boys, etc.?

Thanks

The knob itself is only a few bucks but the freight tends to eat you alive. I need to buy a couple of them for my Daughter's car but I am going to "batch" them with some other parts so as to keep the relative freight charges to a minimum. Either www.myvolvopartsonline.com or www.Tascaparts.com can fix you right up.

I believe the pin is only a couple bucks from a Volvo dealer. May just be easier to just drive to the dealer and get one.
