Going to do a brake line replacement on my S60 with 173,000 miles on it.
New volvo brake fluid on the way and Im looking at VIVA Performance SS brake lines @ $109.00 or IPDUSA SS brake lines for $170.00. Wonder if the price is worth it on the IPD lines? Anyone used/running the VIVA Performance brake lines or have any opinion on why I should not go with VIVA instead of IPDUSA's offering?

I wouldn't.
Are you driving and braking extra hard?
Racing the car?
Buy any aftermarket set of plain old rubber brake lines, they will last the rest of the life of this car.
(10 yrs, 100K, or more if you live in the south or the west) and cost you 25-40 bucks or so

I agree with JRL,,, SS lines are for VERY fast and hard braking..The rubber lasted this long,, save the money for IPD sway bars..much better investment..IMHO..

Ok, so where can I get these or who makes the better brake line? Ive seen FCPGroton's offerings and they have a couple to choose from it looks like. I was not aware that the ss lines were that much of a different feel than regular brake lines. Saving money on this purchase would help very much- got lots of projects/replacements to consider. Thanks!
