Hi People
I have got a V70 D5 2001.
This snow is giving me some real problems.
Have got the tyres checked out and are all ok.
Very disappointed that I am off the road cause the car keeps getting stuck and just wheel spinning.
Tried to go up a road that was a little uphill and wuldnt not go up.
I thought a Volvo would be able to handle this kind of weather my Mums Nissan Almera is driving with no problems.
Any1 having the same problems?
any suggestions.
Thanks
Abs

It may just be the tread pattern on the tires you have. Some sets of tires are far better in snow than others, and the more miles they have on them, the less tread they have to grab with.
The cars themselves are generally great in snow - but in these conditions, it all comes down to how it grips the road. I've clawed through close to 2 feet of snow in parking lots with mine and haven't got hung up. A slow, steady foot is your friend. Too much gas, and you'll start spinning and go nowhere.
