2000 S80 Shift Boot Replacement: Revisited

I'm new to the list. I am in the process of replacing the shift boot and ebrake boot on my 2000 S80 and noticed an earlier posting dealing with the removal of the gear shift knob. Unfortunately, the link in the response has expired. I would appreciate any information regarding replacement of the shift boot and ebrake boot.

I too, would like to replace my shift boot. I have a 2002 S80 T6. Does anyone know how to remove the shift lever knob?
