Hello Matthew and Forum:

I recently purchased my second Volvo, a 1996 850 turbo sportswagon, in Nautica Blue. I love it! What Iequally love is that I have found this site. I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to Matthew for setting this site up and to everyone who posts for the tremendous amount of helpful information.

Quick story . . . .
two weeks ago I took my Volvo to a dealer for what I thought was going to be a simple service and walked away with a long list of "repairs" that they felt I needed done, an inspection charge and nothing done to my car. Basically I was told I should get another car . . . not going to happen.

With all of the information provided here, combined with my 'old school' auto repair knowledge from building cars in the Pacific Northwest, I should be able to keep my blue rocket rolling in style.

Thank you everyone!!!

Tony :D
