2000 V70 SE - Is there a Cargo cover?

I want to find or retro fit a cargo cover for my 2000 V70 SE. I live in a high crime area and need the privacy.

Did the car ever come with a cover? and if not will another year model's cover fit the space?

I have search this forum high and low for any mention of a cargo cover for my year models 1998-2000 with no avail.

Please help, I just got this car a week ago and have been browsing this forum ever since.

Does it have holes in the upper rearside panels.
If so it had a cover at one time
No, they were not standard on a V70SE and

Good luck in finding one (at least one that's not broken) these days!

98 thru 2000 are all the same

(If you do, I have the correct template to drill the holes)

An 850 wagon cargo cover should fit, include them in your search.

I had one in my '97. In december I sold a set of snows to a guy with a '96 turbo wagon, he had a security cover I 've never seen before. It had a narrow parcel shelf behind the rear seats, and the shade pulled out from the shelf. When the shade was pulled out, you could reach back over the rear seats and flip up the shelf, so you could access stuff that was underneath the shade.

OP Here

The car does not have the mounts to mount the cargo screen. Could I pull the mounts from a different car? I would prefer to go the OEM route and just do upgrades from the "base model".

So far I have got one person saying the 850 has a screen and fits in v70 and another person saying the screen does not fit the v70.

does the v70 2001- 2007 work in an older model v70 and has anyone tried it?

2001-2007 won't fit. Keep checking the classifieds.
