Transmission

I have a 2001 v70 - xc with 129K miles. The transmission just gave up; it's an AWD. Does anyone know where I can get a good quality used transmission for a decent price? Thanks. Michael

The problem with that is that you can only use an 01 or 02 transmission.
Any used transmission out there will have about the same miles and will be the same POS 2001-2002 tranny.

You need to:
1: buy a new (factory rebuild w/warranty) one from Volvo
2: Find one of the few shops that can rebuild these properly
3: Sell the car as-is for $750-$1600 (that's all it's woth the way it is now)

Did you READ what I said, he probably will wind up with another bad tranny if he goues that route
