Hi my first post here, hopefully it will be a good one, I hope to start having driving lessons soon and want to get a decent car and one of my main interests is movies and so I usually notice cars I like by watching near endless amounts of movies, I

The first year that the C70 was available was 1997 and that was only in Europe, 1998 being the first year of availability in the US. They are very good cars and fortunately for buyers of used cars, they haven't held their value particularly well. The '97 or '98 model are the most reliable. I do think that it is a pretty good car to learn in, but the 240 hp T5 engine can be rather tempting at times and get you in trouble if you're not careful.

I drive a c70 coupe.....2002 and have found it to be very dependable. I service it regularly to include having the faulty ETM cleaned yearly. The only fault I would post to it is the squeaks and rattles emminating from the sun roof sun shield. It is unbearable at times and the dealer is of no help.
