what's the trick to getting the lower control arm ball joint bolt out?

On the back side there is a seperation in the casting that needs to opened with a hammer and fork or chisel. Once seperated (very little) the bolt can be removed.The bolt will not move because when tightened the casting is distorted and is bending (very slight) the bolt

i'll try that. i couldn't get the bolt to turn at all- is it possible it's seized?
