Pothole now ABS/Anti Skid Light 04 XC90
04 XC90 FWD - A week ago my wife hit a pothole (in her words) violently with the passenger front tire. The ABS light and the Anti Skid/ABS service message came on, at first intermittantly, now fairly consistantly. I removed the tire and see no structural damage to anything. No loose connectors. I believe that the tire took most of the force. The vehicle brakes fine and drives fine. There is some vibration at < 70 mph but that may be from a cracked vaccuum line. Any thoughts on the ABS? Is it so easy as that I take it to the dealer to clear the warning? Thanks for the help.

IS the steering wheel no longer centered?
The steering angle sesnor used for stability control and rollover control is picky about the steering wheel. It is a value that is calibrated and when wheel is not centered it will sets codes for either the SAS (steering angle sensor) or the lateral and yaw rate sensors. It either decides the wheel is off or if thinks the other sensors are not agreeing with the car going continually around corners.
