Quick question for my peace of mind...

A mid-size luxury crossover SUV, the Volvo XC90 made its debut in 2002 at the Detroit Motor Show. Recognized for its safety, practicality, and comfort, the XC90 is a popular vehicle around the world. The XC90 proved to be very popular, and very good for Volvo's sales numbers, since its introduction in model year 2003 (North America). P2 platform.

Quick question for my peace of mind...

Post by The Blue Whale »

I just traded my 2000 xc70 for an 06 xc90.
Both have the T5 motor.

Am I correct in the assumption that my oil filters I have here at my house for my old xc70 will fit on my xc90 with the same motor?

Thanks.

yes, same filter.
Good drivetrain and year model on the xc90. Is it FWD or AWD.

FWD.
I'm shying away from AWD for awhile.
Having a 2000 xc70 will do that to you. I love my 98 v70. 2000 was not a good year for the v70.

A FWD 2.5T xc90 is a great vehicle. Ample power decent MPG and way less things to go wrong.

What are you using? I highly recommend Mobil 1 0W-40 in these motors.

That's my favorite picture on your signature.
My wife would have a stroke if she saw me on our car doing that.
She cringes when I just have the glove box out looking for a rattle.
