dealers can charge what they want. You can opt to not buy there, please do that.
Volvo never said it is synthetic but with its higher cost many assumed synthetic.

MANY dealers do, including mine which is a great dealer, until I forced them to stop saying it
Many of the service guys like to "embellish"
Synthetic sounds better to the customer when they rip you off for 16-20 bucks a quart when it actually costs $6!

Volvo Car Corporation and Volvo Cars of North America never said it was synthetic. Volvo dealers say whatever Volvo dealers want to say.

Ya my dealer dealer said synthetic, was reading up alittle on it and I guess its mineral based not synthetic. Does anyone know who carries the mobil 3309? having trouble finding at my autozone.

Hard to find unless they order you a case or two
Just buy the Toyota fluid... same stuff
